WHERE WE SHIP

We ship within the United States.

Outside the United States, The Book of Lenses can be ordered through your local bookshop. The Player's Kit and card refills are not yet available outside the United States. International shipping for those is planned after 2 November 2026.

HOW WE SHIP

At checkout you choose Standard or Expedited. Standard costs less and takes longer. Expedited costs more and arrives sooner. We choose the postal service that suits what you have ordered.

On some items the two options are the same price, because only one service is available for that parcel.

Card refills are sent by stamped mail and are not tracked. If a refill order does not reach you, tell us and we will replace it.

WHEN WE SHIP

Pre-orders ship on or after 2 November 2026. Orders are filled in the order they are received, as materials arrive.

After 2 November 2026, orders are posted once a week, usually on Wednesday afternoons.

WHAT SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of your order and your delivery address. The amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay.

The one exception is an order chosen for event collection that later has to be posted — see below. Nothing is ever charged without your agreement.

LARGE ORDERS

Up to 25 copies of the book can be ordered here. Other items have their own limits. If you need more than the site allows, write to orders@bookoflenses.com and we will arrange it with you directly.

COLLECTION AT EVENTS

We hold a small number of events where orders can be collected in person, free of charge. Current events are shown at checkout and on our Events page, and the date and time appear in the pickup option itself.

Choosing event collection means:

  • There is no shipping charge. You collect your order at the event named — just give your name.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order, as with any other order.
  • We email you when your order is ready to collect.
  • If you cannot attend, write to orders@bookoflenses.com. We will arrange hand delivery where that is practical, or postage at our standard rate. We will send you the exact cost, and you decide before anything is charged.
  • If no arrangement has been reached 30 days after the event, the order is refunded in full and the item returns to stock.

We ask for a telephone number and an email address at checkout so that we can reach you about a collection.

Orders that are posted rather than collected ship on or after 2 November 2026.
